AUGUST RUSH is a Must-See movie

Ok, so I just saw August Rush.  It was phenomenal.  It combines creativity, color, faith, music, humor, emotion and love all-in-one.  I don't know the name of the actor that plays the little boy Evan, but he should be considered for a Golden Globe.  As I slurped my cherry coke, devoured my buttered popcorn and sat on the edge of my seat, I was inspired.  It occurred to me that one day, I too could move audiences with a formulaic approach at movie making.  Find a common theme in every day existence, add humor, enlist good actors and throw in amazing music with a feel good ending.  I'm sure there's more to it.  but that's a good start.  Well, good night, everyone.  Off to bed I go.

FUNNIEST COLLEGE EXPERIENCE EVER

So, I discovered a blog written about me from a horrible VWIL (Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership) ROTC trip I endured my freshman year in college.  This online blog was entitled "FUNNIEST COLLEGE EXPERIENCE EVER."  One of my former college friends, Sara Hatfield wrote this in response:

Oh God, there's so many! ...On Wilderness my nULL year, Sherris Runcie was in my group and she was always complaining about being starving! This was understandable, because we were all starving. Plus, being cooped up with a bunch of girls you don't know a damn thing about tends to make one a little more miserable. So anyway, she was whining and whining and wouldn't stop talking about food, she would go to other people's cooking groups and eat whatever they had left over! So I guess she got to be pretty desperate, because when we were wiaitng to go caving, we were all sitting around in the yard of this old woman's house, since the cave was on her property. We go to take a head count, and Runcie is gone. We're all wandering around, looking for her, and then we found her. She had climbed into this lady's crabapple tree and had one hanging out of her mouth and had a bunch more in her arms. We all started screaming at her, and she was "but I'm SO hungry!!! I have to eat something!!!" and then she started crying. We were all dying laughing, it was great.**

**I do remember this experience, but in my defense, --it wasn't nearly that dramatic--and the food deprivation was making my blood pressure really low!!!

The Lord is pouring into me and breathing new life into my spirit. It's hard sometimes trying to carry my own burdens and keping up appearances. The Lord is humbling me. I'm laying them down at Christ's feet. I'm so BLESSED! Halleluah!! I'm dancing to a joyous beat as the sound of restoration and rejuvination surround me....Aside from that, anybody got any extra permanent markers? I think I need to hit up Wal-Mart later.
